Letter to my baby girl

Baby T,
I can’t believe how much you’ve grown over the past month or so. It seems like just last week I was looking forward to the day where I definitely looked pregnant, not like I ate too many cupcakes. Now, I can’t hide this baby bump under any type of shirt or dress. And I don’t want to. I want everyone to see how much you’ve grown.
The best part of the last couple weeks is feeling how much you move. You don’t go very long without a stretch, kick or elbow to my side. What’s more fun is being able to see you move! I’m not quite sure what you’re doing in there, but it’s fun to see all the movement. I won’t lie; sometimes it looks like there’s an alien in there.
Your daddy can’t stop staring at my belly. He loves to feel you kick and squirm around, but he’s amazed at being able to see your little legs and elbows push my belly out. He gets so happy when you move - especially when you move in response to his voice. He loves you so much already. He’s been really amazing through all this, helping me through all my aches, pains, and not-so-great days. You’ll love him so much. He’s going to take such great care of you, loving you more than anything else in his world. You will have him wrapped around your little finger - you do already.
We want you to stay right where you are for the next couple of months, growing big and strong, ready for this world. We don’t want to rush anything; you’ll be here when you’re ready. But that’s not to say that we constantly wonder what you’ll look like, what kind of personality you’ll have, and what it will be like to hold you. I know you’ll be here soon enough - but know that we’re so excited about you sometimes it’s overwhelming. You’re already amazing us every day.
