I originally started this blog to help me focus on all the great things around me. When I got pregnant and had Claire, I accidentally turned it into my personal diary of my struggles and successes of “mommyhood.” Here’s my attempt at bringing my blog back to where I intended it – simple things around me that make me happy…

Modern Family. Hands down, the best show on tv in a long time. I love it! It makes me happy. I love all the characters with all their flaws. That’s the best part – the writers make every attempt to showcase the flaws and celebrate them. It’s all light-hearted, and just FUN.


Everyone who watches the show loves Cam. I want to be friends with Cam; I love him. He’s so sweet and optimistic and loving. Definitely not afraid to be who he is and I love that.

Cam compares himself to Costo:
"I'm sort of like Costco. I'm big, I'm not fancy and I dare you to not like me."  

Fizbo to the rescue!

“I feel like I ate the sun!”

If you haven't watched this show yet, do yourself a favor and give it a chance. I haven't met one person who hasn't loved it.
