Credit Where Credit's Due

Here's my thought for the day: when someone deserves credit  - give them credit. Easy enough.

For some reason, I've noticed that people have a hard time giving others credit when credit is due.  This bothers me.  Maybe it was the way I was raised, but I truly believe that when a person achieves some sort of success, accomplishes a goal, or completes a good deed, you give them credit for their work. It's as simple as that. Too often though we let our personal opinions about the person get in the way of their good work.  Whether it's pride, disagreements, or distrust, we forget about the positive and focus on the negative.  So do me, and yourself, a favor today: when you know in your heart you should be giving credit when it's legitimately due, do it.  You'll feel better about yourself, and you will have made someone else's day a little brighter.  Leave the griping and petty arguements aside, and give credit where credit is due.
