I've only been around you a few times in my life, but I feel like I will do whatever it takes to make sure you stay happy and strong. You have an amazing family, but that's not anything new to you. I feel my heart break a little every time I hear "ICU" and "chest tube" but I know that these are just parts of life for you right now. Because of this, I will help in whatever way I can; if that means I walk a little, raise a little money, give a little hope to your family, show love to others, then that's what I'll do. You've inspired me and others in ways you will never know. You've shown us how absolutely precious life is, and how much we need to cherish each and every day we're given. You encourage us to see the good in everyone we meet and you challenge us to be the best people we possibly can.
I thank you for everything you've done for me. I hope someday I can return the favor.
